这是真的吗？阿斯顿马丁也要出中置引擎的超级跑车了？这些还是传言。不过阿斯顿马丁真的要出一款更强的车型了，对手不只是R8了，可能是SLR和Enzo这个级别。阿斯顿马丁的CEO Ulrich Bez博士说，这款车目前代号为NPX，将作为品牌的旗舰，定位高于四门的Rapide。另外官方还说，他们正加速Rapide的上市，NPX会每年生产1000辆到2000辆，价格大概在40万美元。

Is that real?Maybe.Aston Martin is going to add a new flagship model.Its codename is NPX.that’s likely to be a mid-engined supercar to rival the likes of Ferrari and Porsche. The official word from Aston HQ is an outright denial but its CEO, Dr. Ulrich Bez, has given further clues of the model’s existence when he revealed a new product lineup at the same purchase announcement that featured a new model codenamed NPX sitting atop the list. “It’s a sign of the confidence of the company that we could put a model above the Rapide,” he said.

In the meantime, Aston Martin is ramping up for the release of its four-door Rapide, a new flagship that Bez estimates will sell “between 1000 and 2000” annually at a price near $400,000.
